Hypertension is a public health problem among people worldwide . obesity aslo is a common health problem with a high risks of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and kidney disorders.

By 2025 1.56 billion people worldwide will suffer from hypertension according to a new study. so it’s predicts a heart disease since high blood pressure affect directly on blood vessels so lead to organ damage like eye damage and kidney disease.

Obesity and Hypertension: Studies have shown that people who are overweight and obese suffer at the same time from high blood pressure. According to a study undertaken by the International Task Force on Obesity, 1.1 billion of adults are overweight, while there are 312 million adults who are obese. The study also reported that there was a remarkable increase in the incidence of the disease in the United States and Europe, as the rate of obese and overweight men in England reached 66%, while it reached 55% of women there.

Obesity and Heart disease:

There are a direct link between obesity and high risk of heart disease , heart failure and type 2 diabetes mellitus along with high blood pressure
60% of diabetic are overweight.
abdominal obesity have a high risk due to the high rate releasing fatty acids and hormones into the liver from the abdominal fat.

Obesity lead to activation of sympathetic nervous system or the renin–angiotensin system and high pressures within the kidney and these lead to increase in absorption of sodium from the kidney and an increase in blood volume.
